Working together in cross-sector and multi-disciplinary teams means we can combine knowledge and resources to tackle big societal challenges, based on an understanding of lived experience.”


Lesley is the Head of Delivery at NICA. She supports the team to ensure delivery of the collective mission to citizens, partners, and clients – driving forward innovation that will help us all live better, for longer.

Lesley has worked in research for nearly 20 years, initially as an academic researcher and then in research operations and management. Lesley has a PhD in sociology and social policy and this drives her life-long passion and belief that we must strive for a better, more equitable way to live together in society. This passion fuels her commitment to the NICA vision to improve intelligence around ageing and longevity by harnessing the human experience to advance innovation that quickly delivers value to individuals, organisations, and markets.

Lesley is interested in finding innovative ways to use the latest digital technologies to present and communicate data about the society in which we live.
