Richard is the IT & Digital Programme Manager at NICA. He is responsible for orchestrating the design, build and maintenance of many of the systems that underpin NICA’s offering.
An established and experienced full-stack developer, Richard has been involved in web application development for over 20 years and has worked on a range of national and global projects.
Prior to joining NICA in August 2021, Richard was Tech Team Lead at a North East FinTech company where he spearheaded the development of innovative solutions for some of the UK’s best known brands including John Lewis, Barclays, and the BBC. Richard also co-owned and directed a North East digital agency that provided a range of web and digital services to business throughout the UK.
