Working at NICA, I am excited by the opportunity to drive positive change through utilisation of my creative problem-solving skills in a capacity different to traditional design, channelling this to create meaningful interactions with VOICE members. I find the aim of helping people live longer and better lives a meaningful focus to drive positive change in our ageing society.

I am an Innovation Consultant at NICA. I originally studied a BA in ‘3D Design: Product and Furniture’ at Northumbria University, focusing on modularity and multi-functionality. This interest developed through a strong user-focus approach to traditional design, concentrating on creating product longevity through the increased perceived value that multi-functionality and modularity can bring.

Transitioning into my MDI (multidisciplinary innovation) Postgraduate Degree, I continued to develop upon my user-focused approach, instead developing a better knowledge of systems, user-testing and co-creation.

Our People

We deal with ageing and longevity. So we deal, first and foremost, with people - their relationship with society, the economy, politics and innovation. Our background is as diverse and holistic as the subject we deal with requires. This is us. Nice to meet you.
