Lauren Chaffey
Voice Coordinator
Prior to her role at NICA Lauren previously worked as a Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Officer, working on a number of involvement projects for Newcastle’s and Gateshead’s Integrated Care Boards. Most recently she was a Community Development Worker within Northumberland County Council Children’s Services, ensuring that the voices of children, families and young people were at the heart of the development of Family Hubs.
Lauren is extremely passionate about ensuring that communities, especially those who are seldom heard, have a voice within research, innovation and service design.
Our People
We deal with ageing and longevity. So we deal, first and foremost, with people - their relationship with society, the economy, politics and innovation. Our background is as diverse and holistic as the subject we deal with requires. This is us. Nice to meet you.
